Q: How long does it take to make a custom piece?
A: Every piece is made to order, so timing depends on the complexity of the design and how many orders I have on at the time. Most furniture pieces are ready within 3–6 weeks. When you get in touch, I’ll give you an honest estimated completion date so you know what to expect.
Q: Can I see what my piece will look like before you start making it?
A: Yes. For most orders I’ll share a design sketch or 3D render before I begin, so you can confirm the dimensions, finish, and look before any cutting starts. I want you to love it before it leaves the workshop.
Q: Do you deliver across New Zealand?
A: Yes! While I’m based in Auckland, I can arrange delivery for orders throughout New Zealand. Delivery costs vary depending on the size of the piece and your location — I’ll include this in your quote.
Q: Can you match a specific wood colour or finish I already have at home?
A: Absolutely. Matching existing furniture or a specific colour tone is something I do regularly. It helps if you can share a photo of the piece you want it to match, or bring a small sample if you’re local. We’ll find the right finish together.
Q: Can you adjust the size of any piece in your catalogue?
A: Yes, that’s the whole point! Every piece I make is built to your exact dimensions. If a standard size doesn’t fit your space, just tell me the measurements you need and I’ll design around them.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: I accept Visa, Mastercard, Afterpay, and UnionPay. For custom orders I typically ask for a deposit upfront with the balance due on completion.
Q: Can you make a Puja Mandir to a specific size?
A: Yes, every Mandir is custom made to your exact dimensions. Whether you need it to fit a specific wall alcove, a small apartment, or a dedicated prayer room, share your measurements and I’ll design around them. Wall-mounted and freestanding options are both available.
Q: Do you make Mandirs for different religious traditions?
A: Yes. I have made prayer furniture and altar pieces for Hindu, Buddhist, Bahá’í and other families, as well as general meditation spaces. Every piece is made with care and respect for its purpose.
Q: Can I include specific carvings, symbols or engravings?
A: Yes. With my CNC and laser engraving equipment, I can add symbols, patterns, names, prayers or decorative motifs to your Mandir. Share your ideas and I’ll let you know what’s possible.
Q: What is the process for ordering a custom Mandir?
A: Get in touch via the Contact page or WhatsApp with your ideas, photos you like, and approximate dimensions. I’ll come back to you with a design concept and price. Once you’re happy, I’ll ask for a deposit to begin. Most Mandirs take 4–8 weeks depending on complexity.
Q: How much notice do you need for a 21st birthday key?
A: Please allow at least 2–3 weeks for a custom key. If you have a firm date, get in touch as early as you can so we have plenty of time to get the design right without rushing.
Q: What can be personalised on the key?
A: Almost anything! Names, dates, a short message, patterns, symbols, or even a small portrait can be engraved using my laser. Share your ideas and I’ll let you know what will work best on the key size you choose.
Q: What materials are the keys made from?
A: My keys are handcrafted from premium New Zealand timber with a carefully finished surface that looks and feels beautiful. They are designed to be a lasting keepsake, not a novelty gift.
Q: Can I include a gift box or presentation packaging?
A: Yes, I can include a simple gift presentation for your key. Mention this when you get in touch and I’ll let you know the options.
Q: Do you ship 21st keys around New Zealand?
A: Yes, I ship throughout New Zealand. Because they are small and well-packaged, shipping is usually very affordable. I’ll include the cost in your quote.
